Dr. Horton is board certified in implant surgery through the International Congress of Oral Implantology and has been placing implants for over 10 years. Dr. Paige has over 20 years of implant and advanced restorative experience. As a team Drs. Horton & Paige are AGD/Pace instructors (#389294) recognized from 1/1/2020-12/31/2020.
Drs. Horton and Paige have created several comprehensive curriculums to provide doctors with strong scientific foundations of surgical protocols. In depth case presentation and practical hands on instruction allow attending doctors to learn how to apply new skill sets to their existing practice models.
Teachmeimplants.org was created with the specific intent of tailoring advanced education to general practitioners. It is our belief that the more skilled the general dentists in our community are, patients' oral health in our community will only improve.
Drs. Horton and Paige understand the importance of our colleagues being exposed to high quality dental education. With this in mind all courses meet the rigorous standards set forth by the Academy of General Dentistry and Program Approval for Continuing Education (PACE).
Learn the basics of diagnosing, digital planning, placing and restoring implants. This course will include information on the different implant systems and designs as well as their prosthetic components. We will also cover basic CBCT software use for planning both basic freehand placement as well as guided placement. Case presentation will demonstrate basic concepts as well as advanced restorative options. Hands on portion included placing implants in mandibular models and/or pig jaws. Some courses may also offer live surgery!
Become proficient in phlebotomy and the various protocols for using autologous platelet products such as l-PRF i-PRF and more. Hands on training is available for dental providers only. See case presentations demonstrating the different uses of platelet products in implant and grafting surgeries. Some courses may also offer live surgery!
Double your implant practice right away by learning how to increase the amount of bone available in the upper molar region. If more than half of maxillary implants placed involve addressing the sinus in some way, it is time to not miss out on these cases any more. Lecture and hands one will include instruction on both lateral and crestal techniques. Some courses my also offer live surgery!
